Accounting Clerk

Part-time 25-30 hours/week. Maintain AP/AR; prepare monthly report of accounting and budgeting; reconcile accounting procedures to include bank accounts, petty case, and other accounts; prepare and track deposits and expenditures. Ability to type 45 wpm. Minimum three years bookkeeping experience. Expert use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experienced and knowledgeable use of Quickbooks Online software. Must be self-motivated and well-organized, able to work unsupervised or within a team, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Computer Instructor

Part-time 15-20 hours/week. Provide vocational instruction for adult students to gain hands-on experience with computer usage to include basic literacy, Microsoft Office, Keyboarding/Typing, and job readiness skills (resume, job search, interview skills). Must be a strong lecturer; creative and energetic with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Self-motivated with strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently to create and execute classroom theories.

Job Developer

Part-time 12-15 hours/week. Assist adult students with career inventory search, job coaching, job applicant materials, and motivation for next steps. Provide students with employment counseling and job placement assistance. Attend significant networking events to build relationships with prospective employers. Evaluate student readiness for job placement and provide inspiration. Must be an effective motivator with creative insight for job connecting skills, habits and experiences with prospective careers.   Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with experience in a business setting

Adult Instructors

Various positions; part-time 10-15 hours/week. Implement and create lesson plans and activities for adult students in preparation for high school equivalency and adult basic instruction. Must have the ability to inspire and motivate students, as well as set the tone for the classroom environment. Seeking subject specific instructors for (1) Language Arts/English; (2) Math (up to Algebra level). Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with experience in instruction, ministry, tutoring or coaching.

Learning Lab Coordinator

Part-time 16 hours/week. Provide oversight and basic level instruction to adult students in the use of technology-based software programs which supplement classroom instruction. Must have a proficient understanding of computers, as the position will establish student user accounts and interpret report data for the instructional team. Ability to work within a team environment and provide insight, as well as inspire and motivate students in their progress through the lab instruction. Must possess an Associate’s Degree with administrative experience in a business or educational setting.

AmeriCorps VISTA – Marketing Assistant

Full-time, 40 hours/week. The Marketing Coordinator will review current media strategies and develop effort to enhance the community presence of the agency. Will require strong writing skills and ability to conduct outreach to media outlets in the generation of news stories relevant to agency promotions. Familiarity with social media channels and strong computer skills will be required. Must be well-organized, able to work independently, and with solid ability to follow up and provide updates. Creativity and inspiration with interpreting the OIC story from historical, volunteer and student perspectives. Must be an AmeriCorps VISTA Member to apply.
