Success Stories
As a single parent, Tanya Burrell began meeting with her tutor four years ago, raising her reading level over 7 grade levels. Her first goals were to improve her basic literacy skills. Now she is in her fourth semester of college and plans to become a physical therapist. Tanya’s opportunities to improve her lifestyle and provide for her son have kept her motivation strong. “I have fallen in love with reading and love to share this with my son,” says Tanya.
Making Education a Reality

OIC Programs
The novelty of our programs lies in their self-paced format. Students are evaluated based solely on their specific needs. Students begin working in the classroom on those areas where they need the greatest attention.

Why Work With Us
Become a tutor! Our program offers one-to-one and small group tutoring for adults who wish to learn to read, are having difficulties in reading, spelling, and comprehension or wish to learn English as a second language.

OIC Mission
The mission of OIC (Opportunities Industrialization Center) is to inspire and motivate adult learners through Academic and Career Education. We're all about Leadership, Integrity, Vision, Excellence and Self-Discipline.
