Fall Tutor Training Part 1

An estimated 1 in 5 adults in Oklahoma County have below basic literacy skills. Tutors and adult learners are asked to commit to at least an hour and a half per week for a year. Participants will learn strategies for tutoring adult learners who are unable to read or would like help improving their reading skills. A few of the areas covered are characteristics of adult learners, real world materials, and teaching strategies.
